Get Satisfaction!
Oh My Gods! just got it’s own Get Satisfaction site! Huzzah! Now simply go to getsatisfaction.com/ohmygods to leave comments, feedback, suggestions, and whatever else you’d like! There is also a tab on the left called “Feedback” you can use, as well as a link in the menu on the right. So go for it! I’ll be checking it, so feel free to use it to help Oh My Gods! grow!
Deepest apologies for the vacation
Welcome back everyone! I see many faces I remember and tons more new to me! Welcome back veterans and glad to have you newbies!
My deepest apologies for the strip’s long vacation. To not get into much detail, thankfully my feet are back underneath me again and I’m hopefully in a place where I can create the strip on a regular basis again. Currently there is a (huge) void in the strip (from August 4th to November 3rd) – I will try to refill this with content, but I do not want to promise what I am unsure I can deliver. If I do, you’ll be the first to know!
In the Works - Oh My Gods! Hardcover
While it's not ready to be finalized yet, I wanted to let all you lovely fans know about a special project I am working on. I am going to create an Oh My Gods! Special Edition Hard Cover book of the first Five Years of the strip. It will be pretty! It will be fantastic! It will (sadly) also be very expensive! However, I know there will be at least one customer (me) and perhaps maybe more!
Just wanted to give you all a tease!
2000 Strips!
Wow, I can’t believe it’s been this long. I’ve officially now done 2000 strips. It doesn’t feel that long, and frankly, it’s kind of weird to think that I’ve created something 2000 times. In the end, though, I am very thankful to have such a great audience who has stuck with the strip for so long, and to have new readers each and every day! Here’s to the next 2000!
PS: If you missed the 2000th strip, check it out here
Year 4 Anthology NOW AVAILABLE!
Hot on the heels of the release of the Complete Year Three Anthology, the Forth Year anthology of the famed comic strip is now available!, and if your curious you can even take a look inside.
(Of course the first three years of anthologies are still available)
What People are Saying about Oh My Gods!
“This is some seriously clever occult humor! Hey, someone had to take the piss out of NeoPaganism. Leave it to Shivian Balaris to apply his observations and critiques in the form of entertaining comic art. For a lighthearted, fun, and educational perspective of our weird and Witchy ways, Oh My Gods! is the place to turn.”

Well......
While I don't blame them, it's still not nice....

nooo!!!
you can't get rid of Victor! then who would make you feel better about yourself everytime they said/did something silly?
calm down......
I don't think Shivian would get rid of his comic relief character that easily. While Stan & Vera would love to do it, I doubt Shivian would let them.... ;)

Try as they might
Stan, Vera, and the rest can try as they might... somehow I think Victor and his innocent stupidity is something that can never leave the strip... or our culture as a whole :-D
Do you remember Winnie The Pooh?
This strip totally reminds me of the moment in The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh where Rabbit has the brilliant idea to get rid of Tigger by "losing" him in the woods.
If you haven't seen the Disney movie or read the books - for shame! If you have, I'm sure you remember the way that that scenario works out. :D
"Silly Rabbit, Tiggers NEVER get lost!" "Never... get... lost? Oh, why, do these things happen to me? Why, oh, why, oh, why?"

If Victor got stuck in a rabbit hole, would Stan and Vincent take advantage of the rump sticking out???
~people are like slinkies, useless overall, but fun to push down stairs~
lol
that is so something i would say XD
Hmm...
The more I think on Victor, the more he reminds me of the tarot Fool--who dances on the edge of a cliff, because for all he knows, he can step off and dance on air. Arguably the most powerful card of the Major Arcana.
Besides, he's cute.
Keep smiling. It makes your enemys wonder what you're up to.
