Pikachu, huh?

Who knew those little electric rats were good for something besides annoying the daylights out of someone?

It's not that hard - the guy

It's not that hard - the guy with the electric pokemon was Ash, the guy with earth pokemon was Brock, and the girl with water pokemon was Misty.
Ever though about it? =]

^_^

i played the games, watched the shows, i even have the Pikachu doll that lights up and talks...thats back at my parents' house :-D. lol. but i still occasionally play the old Yellow version of Pokemon...retro games rule!

Armenda's picture

you call that retro?

I know some gamers who almost bitchslapped me for calling Echo the Dolphin retro. I think they'd probably light you on fire.

But then I also know a 38 year old who loves Pikachu...don't ask me, I don't know...

Forgotten Ashes's picture

Ah the Nineties...

I still play the games occasionally to get back in touch with my inner child and remind myself that life is not all work, work, work

Hobbit!! yay! But anyways .

Hobbit!! yay! But anyways . . . I think I would have to replace pikachu with something a little less cute and cuddly, say a large red dragon.

The absence of something can be just as deadly as the presence. The absence of air, hmm? Water? - Baron Harkonnen

I thought...

I thought the recipe was 2 parts vodka to 1 part gin, repeat until attractive.

Get Satisfaction!

Oh My Gods! just got it’s own Get Satisfaction site! Huzzah! Now simply go to getsatisfaction.com/ohmygods to leave comments, feedback, suggestions, and whatever else you’d like! There is also a tab on the left called “Feedback” you can use, as well as a link in the menu on the right. So go for it! I’ll be checking it, so feel free to use it to help Oh My Gods! grow!

Deepest apologies for the vacation

Welcome back everyone! I see many faces I remember and tons more new to me! Welcome back veterans and glad to have you newbies!

My deepest apologies for the strip’s long vacation. To not get into much detail, thankfully my feet are back underneath me again and I’m hopefully in a place where I can create the strip on a regular basis again. Currently there is a (huge) void in the strip (from August 4th to November 3rd) – I will try to refill this with content, but I do not want to promise what I am unsure I can deliver. If I do, you’ll be the first to know!

In the Works - Oh My Gods! Hardcover

While it's not ready to be finalized yet, I wanted to let all you lovely fans know about a special project I am working on. I am going to create an Oh My Gods! Special Edition Hard Cover book of the first Five Years of the strip. It will be pretty! It will be fantastic! It will (sadly) also be very expensive! However, I know there will be at least one customer (me) and perhaps maybe more!

Just wanted to give you all a tease!

2000 Strips!

Wow, I can’t believe it’s been this long. I’ve officially now done 2000 strips. It doesn’t feel that long, and frankly, it’s kind of weird to think that I’ve created something 2000 times. In the end, though, I am very thankful to have such a great audience who has stuck with the strip for so long, and to have new readers each and every day! Here’s to the next 2000!

PS: If you missed the 2000th strip, check it out here

Year 4 Anthology NOW AVAILABLE!

Hot on the heels of the release of the Complete Year Three Anthology, the Forth Year anthology of the famed comic strip is now available!, and if your curious you can even take a look inside.

(Of course the first three years of anthologies are still available)

What People are Saying about Oh My Gods!

“This is some seriously clever occult humor! Hey, someone had to take the piss out of NeoPaganism. Leave it to Shivian Balaris to apply his observations and critiques in the form of entertaining comic art. For a lighthearted, fun, and educational perspective of our weird and Witchy ways, Oh My Gods! is the place to turn.”
Raven Digitalis, author of Shadow Magick Compendium & Goth Craft
