Deepest apologies for the vacation
Welcome back everyone! I see many faces I remember and tons more new to me! Welcome back veterans and glad to have you newbies!
My deepest apologies for the strip’s long vacation. To not get into much detail, thankfully my feet are back underneath me again and I’m hopefully in a place where I can create the strip on a regular basis again. Currently there is a (huge) void in the strip (from August 4th to November 3rd) – I will try to refill this with content, but I do not want to promise what I am unsure I can deliver. If I do, you’ll be the first to know!

There are 32 "runes" on my keyboard. That gives us four aettir [sp?].
Now we need someone to assign meanings for each of them. Anyone want to give it a go?
P.S.: Yes, I'm serious. I do think that it would be possible to create a meaningful and workable symbol system using punctuation.

I think it could work. I'll have to figure out what medium to use for them, then try them out.
Maybe Othello pieces? The same character would be on both sides of the piece, in it's bright and dark aspects!

aw, shucks... thanks, y'all. It was fun.
If you do Othello pieces, make sure you mark it so you can tell the top of the rune from the bottom. Otherwise, you won't be able to tell the difference between < and >, [ and ], and so on.

useing a random number generator and some ascii values we can now create rune casting on a whole new level of geek.

If you really wanted to be cool, get an old keyboard from like the thrift store. Take said symbols OFF the keyboard... although the program would be awesome too!
