There is also a tab on the left called “Feedback” you can use, as well as a link in the menu on the right. So go for it! I’ll be checking it, so feel free to use it to help Oh My Gods! grow!
Deepest apologies for the vacation
Welcome back everyone! I see many faces I remember and tons more new to me! Welcome back veterans and glad to have you newbies!
My deepest apologies for the strip’s long vacation. To not get into much detail, thankfully my feet are back underneath me again and I’m hopefully in a place where I can create the strip on a regular basis again. Currently there is a (huge) void in the strip (from August 4th to November 3rd) – I will try to refill this with content, but I do not want to promise what I am unsure I can deliver. If I do, you’ll be the first to know!
In the Works - Oh My Gods! Hardcover
While it's not ready to be finalized yet, I wanted to let all you lovely fans know about a special project I am working on. I am going to create an Oh My Gods! Special Edition Hard Cover book of the first Five Years of the strip. It will be pretty! It will be fantastic! It will (sadly) also be very expensive! However, I know there will be at least one customer (me) and perhaps maybe more!
Just wanted to give you all a tease!
2000 Strips!
Wow, I can’t believe it’s been this long. I’ve officially now done 2000 strips. It doesn’t feel that long, and frankly, it’s kind of weird to think that I’ve created something 2000 times. In the end, though, I am very thankful to have such a great audience who has stuck with the strip for so long, and to have new readers each and every day! Here’s to the next 2000!
PS: If you missed the 2000th strip, check it out here
Year 4 Anthology NOW AVAILABLE!
Hot on the heels of the release of the Complete Year Three Anthology, the Forth Year anthology of the famed comic strip is now available!, and if your curious you can even take a look inside.
(Of course the first three years of anthologies are still available)
What People are Saying about Oh My Gods!
“This is some seriously clever occult humor! Hey, someone had to take the piss out of NeoPaganism. Leave it to Shivian Balaris to apply his observations and critiques in the form of entertaining comic art. For a lighthearted, fun, and educational perspective of our weird and Witchy ways, Oh My Gods! is the place to turn.”

yeah but
ever seen a hunters moon rising over a lough/lake, at times it lights up my garden the way streetlights would if i didn't live in the back-arse of nowhere......its kinda pretty
It sounds pretty...
It sounds pretty... unfortunately, I live on one of the busiest streets in my city. :( So we've got the street lights overpowering everything. (ugh) But at my dad's house, the garden is in the back, and at night, full moon, perfect.
I wish I could see that...
But I live on a post-stamp sized lot in the middle of the biggest subdivision in my town. There's so much light pollution you can barely see any stars at night. Those you do see, you have to watch a couple minutes to make sure they're not planes flying overhead (I live near Detroit Metro Airport).
I used to live out in the
I used to live out in the country and it waz so amazing watching the moon shine down, now i live in a city but the street light infront of my house doesnt work when its really cold out lol so i still get to see my stars from time to time :D
And sometimes one must be
And sometimes one must be careful not to confuse moonlight with the lamplight being reflected off of somebody's ass.

But....
Any light is pretty just as long as your not a moth.
I never get why people are scared of me.
ooh ive seen this
3 or so years ago, Yule, im walking about my parents farm at night and the moon was massive, it lit up the whole world in a soothing light. the moon hung there, shineing bright enough to hide the stars and the snow was glistening. i must have spent a couple hours ontop of a barn roof meditateing on the scene. i wish i had a camera to show you guys and gals.
ooooo, pretty
wow, that sounds so amazing :)
it really is beautiful
Sometimes you even get a blood moon. The world glows red like it was washed in blood, it's so dark but everything has highlights of red through it, it makes my sister refuse to go outside creeps out my mum too, i like it.
I would love to see that, it
I would love to see that, it sounds beautiful.
I have the uncommon gift for seeing beauty in everything, so i stayed up all night once looking at the moonlight reflected off of the collected rainwater on top of the garage roof outside of my bedroom window (I live in a flat).
I wanted to be a photographer once, but then i realised that things i see as beautiful may not seem beautiful to others.
My karma ran over my dogma
who cares
doesnt matter what others see as beauty when your a photographer. your job is to show others the beauty you see, which i guess is the job of artists, to make people feel the emotions you felt when you made that art.
remember, to heck with everyone else, if they truely knew what they wanted they would have made it themselvs.

A few months ago we (my family and I) were driving home and we saw that the moon was HUGE. It hadn't really risen so it looked like a giant sculpture sitting on the street or something. It was so cool. And kinda funny because since I was gettign picked up from an open circle my parents were like "Did you do that?". lol
Blessed be,

Speaking of moons
Has anyone ever seen what looks like a rainbow surrounding the moon? I've seen it three times in my life. My friend calls them Moonbows. They are gorgeous. I love the moon no matter its phase. Moonlight has always filled me with a serenity I have never been able to find anywhere else. :)
Moonbow...
is actually the real name for them. I have never seen one however and didn't even know they existed until my astronomy prof. mentioned them during lecture.
moon
moonlight is like crack for me. It makes me feel euphoric and I miss it when it's not there. ((I'd say dragon's blood was like that for me, too, but it just gives me the warm-and-fuzzies lol))
Lunar eclipses look cool, too... But all I got was a little red dot when I tried to take a picture of one. :P

Oh My Gods for the wynn. ^_^
The moon
There's nothing more spiritual to me than being out in the wilderness on a cool, clear night and seeing the sky lit up with stars and the moon lighting the ground below. It's surprisingly bright, too, and the dark colors at night under the light of the moon look so beautiful.
