Creator Commentary
This strip is done in honor and memorial of all the loss that happened in one short day.
Within the course of a few hours the world was shaken and changed forever. And for in that short time, people who would normally never associate, never speak to each other, changed. They took up hands, hugged, and held one another as they cried in horror and dismay.
Today’s strip is my way of honoring those that we have lost. But it is also to show how strong we are as one planet. Regardless of our race, religion, nationality, sexuality, lifestyle, or anything else about us. Today’s strip is to show that when we put aside our differences and take up hands, we are truly amazing.

Wow.
This strip presents one of the nicer memorials I've seen to honor that day. The quote from Yeats is a very nice touch. Good job Shivian.

Sniffle
This strip honestly brought tears to my eyes and sent a shiver down my spine. If only we could be united in that way without a horrible tragedy happening first.

Nearly ten years later and
Nearly ten years later and it still sends shivers down my spine.
All these year ...
I saw this for the first time around the second anniversary, and it had the same effect both then and now: it brought tears to my eyes, literally. So powerful.
